Covid-19 - What we all need to do.

Hello Community,


This is the first in a series of blog posts about Covid -19 and what you can do to stay healthy.

I realize there is a lot of information out there. Most people are only able to take in small bits of information at a time.


So, I thought I would send out a few nuggets of information a day to help you stay safe.


Everyone knows about social distancing and wearing a mask when you go out. 

But, is there more you could be doing? YES!

When you get back home after a trip out:

1. Remove your mask and shoes

2. Wash groceries off with disinfectant wipes, or  dish soap and warm water. 

3. Remove gloves. Wash the counter top. Wash your hands

4. Undress and take a shower

5. Put clothes directly into the laundry/ wash clothes using hot water

6. Wash your hands again!

7. Gargle with 1-2 tsp of salt dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water 2-3 times.

    This will kill any virus that has lodged in your throat

8. Wash your hands again!

9. Eat a zinc lozenges. This will boost your immune system!

10. Have some Vitamin C, either by a pill or eat some citrus fruit.
